Keith Cowart
Lead Pastor
Keith has served in pastoral ministry in the Free Methodist Church and United Methodist Church since 1991. He and his wife, Pam, started Christ Community Church in their house in 1997, and have seen it grow to a congregation of more than 1,000 today.
Keith has a passion for developing leaders and building God’s Kingdom around the world. In addition to his pastoral duties, he serves as overseer of Free Methodist missions for the Southern Europe region, speaks regularly at conferences, serves as the Georgia District Leader of the Free Methodist Church, and has served on the boards of The River Christian Counseling, Teen Advisors, International Friendship Ministries and The Columbus Dream Center.
Keith is a graduate of Georgia Southern University (BBA, 1986) and Asbury Seminary (Master of Divinity, 1991; Doctor of Ministry, 2002). He and his wife, Pam (CCC’s Membership Administrator), have two teenage sons, Andrew and Aaron. When he’s not busy with pastoral duties, Keith enjoys reading, traveling and being outdoors.

Pastor of Leadership Development Kelli championed CCC's volunteer ministries as Director of SERVE Ministries for five years, during which she developed curriculum titled Gifted to Serve to help volunteers find their ministry niche. She now spearheads CCC's Leadership Development process. Kelli has more than 20 years of experience in various ministry roles, and holds a B.A. in Communication and a Masters of Theological Studies. She is married to Chris, her husband of 21 years, and finds joy in her two children, Bekah and Ryan. ![]() Brent and Cailey Dumler
CCC-Phenix City Campus Brent and Cailey Dumler have led the development of CCC's first satellite campus, launched in September 2014. Brent is the Campus Pastor, and Cailey serves as the Gifted to Serve Pastor, as well as Administration Support. They have been active in church ministry throughout their marriage of almost 24 years. Their experiences have involved staff positions at five churches in four states. A unique blend of unhealthy church hurts and numerous positive mentors and life events have given Brent and Cailey a specific ministry, message and mission in the Church. ![]() Billy Gross
CONNECT Ministries Billy oversees Community Groups and other outlets for helping the CCC family invest in relationships. A Columbus native, Billy has extensive experience in business and ministry environments, including work with high-risk, low-income teens at FCS Urban Ministries in Atlanta and roles in accounting and human resources with W T Harvey Lumber Co. in Columbus. Billy has been married 31 years to Melanie, and has two adult children, two grandchildren and a teenager daughter. ![]() Gill Price
GROW Ministries Gill oversees CCC’s discipleship process, including group classes, one-on-one mentoring and other spiritual growth initiatives. Before entering full-time ministry, Gill served as an Army infantry officer in South Korea, Washington, D.C., and Afghanistan. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York and Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina. He delights in his wife of eight years, Holly, and is the proud father of two young daughters, Abigail and Anna Elizabeth. ![]() Robert Williams
Student Ministries Robert began engaging middle and high school students as a volunteer at Christ Community Church in 2011, and joined the staff in June 2012. Discontent with the trend of students leaving the Church after high school, he, along with his wife Rachel, has sought to lead the students of CCC into a faith that’s genuine and enduring. An avid reader, Robert has a B.S. in Middle Grade Education from Columbus State University. ![]() Brad Wilcox
Church Administrator Unofficially known as “The Church Dad,” Brad manages all administrative functions of CCC, including finances, daily operations, staff oversight and facilities maintenance. He served in a variety of church leadership roles, including youth pastor, children’s pastor and senior pastor, prior to coming to CCC in 2008. He and his wife, Mishawn, have two daughters. ![]() Cathy Alford
Guest Speaker Cathy Alford, MA, PCC, is a Leadership and Strengths Coach credentialed with the International Coach Federation and certified as a Gallup StrengthsFinder® coach. She works with individuals and teams to identify strengths, team dynamics and growth opportunities for success. Cathy is the CEO of LifeWorks Coaching in Columbus, and a founding member of the Columbus Coaching Collaborative. She has taught Coach Training at Columbus State University and served in pharmaceutical sales management for more than 23 years. She is a contributing author of Inspired Women Succeed and the author of If Only We Could Talk: 3 Simple Steps to Parent-Teen Conversations. |

Executive Pastor Derrick has been on staff at CCC since 2011, serving as pastor for outreach, missions and Celebrate Recovery before moving into the Executive Pastor role this year. Prior to joining the staff, he served for several years in a volunteer and part-time capacity while transitioning from a successful business career. A U.S. Army veteran, Derrick is a skilled communicator who draws on his unique background in the military, business and ministry to bring impactful and thought-provoking messages as well as leadership to his assigned areas. He and his wife, Andrea, are the proud parents of three children: Derrick Jr., Christopher and DeAndra. ![]() Jae Lesley
WORSHIP Ministries Jae has a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, more than 20 years of experience in ministry, and nearly that many as a gigging musician. He's now pursuing a Master’s in Worship Studies. Bringing these educational and professional backgrounds together gives him a unique perspective on music and ministry. Although he has shared the stage with many known Christian, country, rock and hip-hop artists, his calling to the local church has always been his main priority. More than anything, the native of Mobile, Alabama considers himself a Christ follower, husband to Kaci and father to Gabe. ![]() Pam Bone
LIVE Ministries Pam leads CCC’s work in local and international missions. She joined the staff in 2014 after serving in various volunteer leadership roles for three years. Pam holds a BBA in Finance from Columbus State University, has worked in management in corporate environments, and owned her own business. She also has served on the board, finance committee and as a banquet co-chair for Columbus's Valley Rescue Mission. Pam and her husband of 23 years, Jimmy, have two young-adult sons. ![]() Mason and Meghan Stewart
Young Adult Ministries Meghan Stewart has served CCC’s Young Adults, first as a volunteer then as a staff member, for three years. With the help of her husband, Mason, the YA ministry is equipping a growing group of 30-and-younger men and women to “forsake the world for the joy of knowing Christ.” Meghan and Mason are graduates of Columbus State University and parents to a charming cat named Jake. ![]() Laura Steiner
Children’s Ministiries Laura oversees all aspects of CCC’s children’s programming. She has experience leading Sunday School, Awana and VBS programs at a previous church home. Laura and her husband, Brian, have two daughters, Anna and Kate, both of whom she has homeschooled since 2009. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Georgia Tech. ![]() Jodie Creswell
Creative Arts Director Jodie creates stage designs and décor, and directs creative elements to visually enhance the worship experience at CCC. She also sings on the church’s worship team and serves as choir director on special occasions throughout the year. When not employing her talents at CCC, she keeps busy with her wedding and event planning business, Weddings & Whimsy by Jodie. The creative gene runs deep in the Creswell family – Jodie’s husband, Dewayne, is a professional musician, and their four children all lean toward artistic pursuits. ![]() Shelley Walls
Special Needs Ministry Shelley founded and leads Access 18:16, CCC’s ministry for families with children who have special needs. She combines an extensive background and education in Early Childhood Special Education – including a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation and Special Education – with a passion for helping children with disabilities and special needs. She developed a curriculum, recruited and trained volunteers, and oversaw the growth of Access 18:16 to more than 20 participant families with special needs children. She and her husband, Jim, are active members of CCC and the parents of three children. |
